00:00:00: Hi, welcome back to my podcast.
00:00:02: Today's episode is all about the championship playoff final.
00:00:09: It was quite an end-to-end match with chances for both teams and I don't think anyone really deserved a lose.
00:00:23: but they can only be one winner And it was whole yesterday.
00:00:30: so Congratulations to them.
00:00:36: It was a really good performance by then.
00:00:39: but it also were the great performers by Middlesbrough, their Slatek I think played exceptionally well coming through and with great opportunities.
00:00:56: Alongwith McGree.
00:00:59: he was amazing.
00:01:01: He Was Really Good Apart from one time where he let the Lumi onto his left foot and you almost culled it into a top corner, but apart from that He was Quite good.
00:01:13: I think Morgan Whitaker was also another standout player for Middlesbrough with his pace and power And just driving in course and chaos for whole.
00:01:24: i Think they were very unlucky to not score.
00:01:32: They can go again at it next year.
00:01:36: We've done that.
00:01:37: for Hull I think Olly McBurney did really well.
00:01:44: He scored the last minute goal but i also think he got unlucky with the crossbar.
00:01:48: That was a decent coil Very good player.
00:01:55: Played very well, very decent.
00:01:59: And guys...I thought he played some nice balls in.
00:02:05: I think the wing play was pretty good from Hull.
00:02:08: They weren't very direct, they were just from The Wing.
00:02:11: but i think Middlesbrough are more direct coming through to middle like with Whittaker and Slatec especially in the first half because they...I think Middlesbrough had a seventy-five percent of possession in their first half And that was absolutely outstanding.
00:02:34: Crazy!
00:02:35: Because the game was still quite even but there was a feel to it that they were going counter-attacking Which is really good I?
00:03:14: Think the difference today was you when he came on.
00:03:20: He was outstanding, he just ran down run down a line And then cut it back and that's how.
00:03:31: but Bernie's good.
00:03:32: well You got quite lucky with the goalkeeper fumbling But he started it.
00:03:38: He started so well.
00:03:41: It was crazy and it was just like you just cut drove down the line beat a few men Cut it back.
00:03:51: there was a bit of a scramble kind of an Olly McBurnie should poached at home to send them to the back to the to send hold to the Premier League.
00:04:02: Um, it was amazing result.
00:04:06: I thought pampour did very well.
00:04:09: He didn't make any mistakes really to be fair and he was pretty strung off his line.
00:04:22: In the first half people weren't really troubled.
00:04:24: despite Middlesbrough's dominance with possession, in second half made one good save but it turns out that player who shot him outside so it wouldn't have mattered anyway but still a great save and I think it was great performance by most players on the pitch, it's just only one team can win which is unfortunate.
00:04:55: But that is it because there's football and once they master win unless its league you don't get your control You know?
00:05:04: Yeah!
00:05:06: Aiden Hackley didn't exactly impress me.
00:05:10: He was quite quiet.
00:05:13: It seems like everyone's raving about him, how he is so good.
00:05:18: His stats are amazing in the passing categories and touches but he is amazing first or second... But you didn't really impress!
00:05:31: You did not do anything to be fair.
00:05:34: So maybe one of two tackles that he was quite quiet, didn't really get the ball in their last twenty minutes when it came on.
00:05:44: It was quite bad but like... I think there's a lot of pressure going into this game due to the spy gate and all of that with whole threatening to take legal action before the game if they lost which i don't quite understand.
00:06:01: what they're probably something about.
00:06:04: The Hierarchy know knew about it Which we do not which is pretty weird, even if they didn't win.
00:06:20: They would have still done really well but as they were relegation candidates at the start of year and now are going into the Premier League... ...they're gonna be The Underdogs next season!
00:06:34: Like all relegations or like all promoted clubs that expects it to get relegated.
00:06:40: Sunderland broke the cycle, Sunderlands and Leeds broke this year.
00:06:44: And that was amazing!
00:06:50: It's just... I think a whole lot up there about how Middlesbrough were reinstated.
00:07:02: they thought that Wrexham should have been placed in Southampton's place and Wrecksham should've played Middlesborough in the semi-final.
00:07:13: but But I believe it was a fair punishment.
00:07:18: as they put even if they say something's deleted that doesn't mean It is with the internet and all that issues are pretty bad.
00:07:31: Now we've got some statements from Serge Jakarovic, The whole manager.
00:08:39: No now that holds manager who?
00:08:44: Serge Jakarevich speaking after full time.
00:08:49: He's the first manager to lead them to hold to the Premier League since Steve Bruce in a twenty-fifteen, twenty-sixteen season.
00:08:56: but it is quite an incredible feat due...to where they were.
00:09:03: They were relegation candidates at start of the season and now they're bloated.
00:09:10: It was an extraordinary achievement for The Football Club And I think this This will bring a lot of joy to the football club, especially after all that season or seasons with their transfer and bar going.
00:09:27: Thanks for tuning in this small episode of The Football Podcast.
00:09:33: Thank you!
00:09:34: And we'll see you next time.
